Colonial Lake
DYK: Over 170 palmetto trees will be cut down then replaced in downtown Charleston due to fire hazards. Residents of Colonial Street were not happy about this initiative and tried to block the trees with their cars and even put up flyers. Dominion Energy has identified these trees that are too close to power lines as part of their 5 year protocol.
